Claim: “Easter Sunday” is incorrect!
The assertion that “Easter Sunday” is correct is being challenged. The claim being made is that “Easter Monday” is the accurate day of Jesus’ resurrection, based on Biblical evidence. This shocking report is presented to uncover hidden truths.
Christians refer to Sunday as “Easter Sunday”, celebrating it as the day when Jesus was crucified and resurrected.
However, many hidden truths regarding this matter have been concealed. Because of the suppression of these truths, it is deemed essential to reveal these facts to the world. To fulfill this need, a special article that was previously published in the magazine “Unarvu” is now being republished.
The Day of Jesus’ Death:
Christians commemorate the day Jesus was crucified as Good Friday, also known as Holy Friday. Therefore, it is certain that Jesus died on a Friday.
Jesus’ Prophecy About His Death:
Jesus made a prophecy about His death in the Gospel of Matthew 12:40:
“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
This prophecy indicates that after His death, Jesus would be buried and remain in the heart of the earth for three nights and three days.
The day believed to be the resurrection of Jesus is celebrated as the Easter festival.
To determine when Jesus’ prophecy would be fulfilled, let us calculate based on the Bible.
Jesus died on a Friday at 3 PM. That night, He was buried. According to His prophecy, He must remain in the heart of the earth for three nights and three days.
However, the Bible states that He resurrected on Sunday morning, and some people witnessed this.
Based on the Bible’s timeline, Jesus was buried on Friday night after His death.
Since Jesus was buried on Friday night, He was not in the grave during Friday daytime, but only on Friday night.
On Saturday, He remained in the grave for the entire day and night, fulfilling one day and one night.
Therefore, by this calculation, the total time in the grave amounts to two nights and one day.
The Bible states that on Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene saw Jesus.
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
Matthew 28:1-6
According to Christian belief, Saturday is the Sabbath (day of rest). The Bible states that Jesus resurrected on the morning of the following day, which is Sunday.
Based on this timeline, Jesus was in the heart of the earth for only two nights and one day.
However, according to the prophecy made by Jesus, He must remain in the heart of the earth for three nights and three days.
- Friday Night – First night
- Saturday Daytime – First day
- Saturday Night – Second night
- Sunday Daytime – Second day
- Sunday Night – Third night
- Monday Daytime – Third day
Based on this calculation, Jesus should have resurrected on Monday night. If Christians believe in a Sunday resurrection, they are contradicting Jesus’ prophecy.
Therefore, for the prophecy of three nights and three days to be accurate, the resurrection must have occurred on Monday night. Consequently, the notion of Easter Sunday is entirely incorrect according to this interpretation. The correct day of resurrection should be celebrated as Easter Monday.
Since there is no Biblical evidence supporting that Jesus resurrected on Monday after three nights and three days as per His own prophecy, this indicates that Jesus’ prediction has failed. As a result, this failure is used to argue that the Bible is not divinely inspired.
At the same time, it is suggested that Satan, who appeared in the form of Jesus, orchestrated this event. This argument is backed by various passages within the Bible that provide evidence supporting this idea.
Additionally, it is highlighted that Bible translators deliberately engaged in translation fraud to conceal the truth. This manipulation is pointed out to emphasize the responsibility to expose these distortions.
“Jonah was in the stomach of a huge fish for three days and three nights. The Son of Man will be in the grave for three days and three nights.” (Matthew 12:38-40)
This English passage clearly mentions three nights and three days.
However, in some translations, this phrase has been deliberately altered. For example,
“Just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and nights, the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and nights.”
(Matthew 12:38-40)
Key Point of Discrepancy:
The phrase “three nights and three days” has been fraudulently translated as “three days and nights.”
The phrase “three nights and three days” has been deliberately altered to “three days and nights”.
This intentional manipulation by the preachers is presented as a calculated effort to distort the original meaning and to align with their interpretations.
